Pat O’Brien qualified with the London City and Guilds in Carpentry, Joinery and Advanced Craft in 1983. He also has a degree in Structural Engineering.
Since then, he has worked on an array of prestigious projects. He was responsible for the fitting out of the Pizzeria in Harrods Foodhall in London. He also worked on the fit outs of the minimalist apartments of Sir Norman Foster in Battersea as well as other high profile clients such as Gianni Versace and David Attenborough.
After returning to Ireland, he spent some time as the Project Manager on large scale commercial projects such as the new air traffic control centre in Shannon, Co. Clare. He now operates OB Shop Fitting and Construction Ltd where he works with a fully qualified team on all elements of the project from brickwork to joinery.
He has worked on many high spec projects such as the fit out of Pizza Hut in Limerick, Seapoint Dental Clinic in Blackrock, as well as carrying out work in embassies and ambassadors residences in Dublin and numerous private houses.
